Abroad & Away Programs
Study Abroad comes in many different opportunities! If you want to get away, you can find programs that allow you to:
- Travel internationally or within the U.S.
- Leave for a few weeks, one quarter, or one year
- Take courses to satisfy degree requirements
- Choose by discipline, region, or type of experience
- Do an internship or fieldwork
- Study language and culture
Study Abroad courses can satisfy major requirements, but they don't have to. Your degree may offer the flexibility to take non-major courses abroad and still graduate on time. Talk to a major advisor!
- UCEAP (International)
- UC Education Abroad Program (UCEAP) is the UC systemwide program for study abroad. Search and explore all programs!
You can also use the UCEAP course catalog to see which universities around the world offer courses for your major (UC Subject).*
*Interdisciplinary programs are not straight-forward. You can add the following UC Subject in your catalog sort, but you may only request major credit for courses directly related to your major.
→ For CGS majors, add psychology, philosophy, linguistics, or computer science.
→ For STS majors, add anthropology, film/media studies, English, history, philosophy, sociology, or any physical/natural science. - UC Davis Programs (U.S.A. & International)
UC Davis programs are typically led by UC Davis faculty.

On-Campus and Local Programs
If you want to stay in California or close to campus, you have several options for global learning! Use the Global Learning Hub Program Search Tool and its search filters to explore.
Note: The filter is helpful but not perfect and filtering by your specific major will limit your results. There are many ways to use this search, and we recommend starting with the Program Category filter.
